Old School Basketball Ball Handling Drills

Here some basic ball handling drills.  There are several basketball ball handling, dribbling drills and to improve your overall ball handling skills in basketball.  These type of drills help your offensive game and keeping control of the basketball which is an important aspect for any basketball player.

Some of the ball handling drills, dribbling drills, are called the following in order:

  1. rhythm drills - you can do both directions left or right.
  2. two bounce dribbling - taking to bounces between your legs
  3. one bound dribbling - taking only one dribble or bounce between your legs
  4. flop drill - keep finger tip control of the ball trying to do this as quick as possible and without dropping the ball at all
  5. flip drill - same as the basketball ball handling drill called flop above
