The hitter faces parallel to the fence at a length of less than one bat. Hitter will imagine an inside pitch and swings the bat dragging bat’s head behind the hands until out in front of the body and then extending bat’s head towards the imaginary ball. This drill will help develop a short quick swing, and this can be used as a batting practice station.
